Fast Company article on communication through images
I really liked this short piece in the front of the April ‘08 Fast Company on corporations attempts to disseminate motivational corporate policies and business goals to a large, diverse staff. Each concept under discussion is illustrated on a napkin in sketch form next to it’s relevant block of copy (the concepts are samples of real-life situations from the book The Back of the Napkin: Solving Problems and Selling Ideas with Pictures by Dan Roam). Perfect front-of-book content, short, interesting and worth further study by the reader outside of the magazine.
