Effective front of book layouts from Automobile magazine

I’ve been looking for some inspiration for front-of-book stuff for a project I’m working on, and flicked through Automobile magazine (March 2008). It’s been a while since I read this, I love the way these pages look, there’s a lot of information, yet none of it is overwhelming, it’s fun, looks light and easy to read and makes some really interesting use of graphics without them being overwhelming or distracting in the slightest. Perfect browsing/make you buy off the newsstand material, before getting into the meatier, copy-heavy reviews.
